Pet Rocks

It’s never too early to start your little ones on craft-making. Such adorable and cheery pet rocks made by a group of preschoolers (18-24 months old, Singapore), accompanied by their parents, faciliated by Cherlyn from art@homesg.

The garden rocks were washed and dried before the session—light-coloured and flat rocks were preferred. The flat surface made it easy for little hands to work with, providing an area for pompoms, googly eyes and shimmering pipe-cleaners to stick on. The kids were also given oil-based markers to doodle/scribble on the rocks, before adding on the colourful accessories.
